“Natural, cool, and funky” is the tagline of this collaboration between Phillip Kettern of Fio and Dirk Niepoort of his eponymous family estate. 100% Riesling grown on steep slopes in the village of Piesport, the wine is brimming with notes of lemon rind with a pleasant saltiness that is well balanced by a punch of acidity. While on the lighter side, the skin contact gives the wine great structure and body.
